Level II Tavor Operator Course - Alliance, Ohio

Training Prerequisite: Level I Tavor Operator

Course Information:

This course is designed to build upon fundamentals of shooting the Tavor SAR and X95 rifle systems from the original course and enhance the user’s ability to employ the system.

After reviewing marksmanship and the manual of arms, the shooter will be instructed on additional techniques required for a multitude of situations. Your instruction will be conducted by members of the law enforcement and special operations community. 

* This course will require physical activity to include running and rapid assumption of positions.  Please disclose any medical conditions which may preclude your participation from certain events.

  • Review of basic manipulations
  • Transitions on the move
  • Shooting on the move
  • Shooting from behind cover
  • Movement into positions
  • Stress drills
  • Timed drills
  • Qualification
  • Long range engagements

If you do not have an X95 or SAR, please let us know at registration and we will supply one for the training free of charge.

Registration Cost: $500.00*

This covers the cost of the course only. The participant is responsible for costs associated with travel, lodging, meals, firearms (unless requested during registration), ammunition, and gear required.

*Submitting the online application will hold your spot in the course for one week. During that time period contact IWI US at (717) 695-2081 to arrange payment. A $250 deposit will be processed to secure your place in the course with the remainder of the payment processed one to two weeks prior to your course start date.

  • A Background Check is required with registration.
  • Use SentryLink National Criminal Background Check to obtain your report.
  • Once the report is complete and you have reviewed it for accuracy, forward it to MarcyG@iwi.us by using the share button on the report.  

The background check requirement will be waived if the applicant can provide a copy of their concealed carry permit, issued by their home state, along with a copy of their driver's license OR a copy of their law enforcement credentials and their state issued driver's license.

Firearms Requirements:
  • Tavor SAR or X95 with sling
  • 5 serviceable 30 round magazines
  • Rifle magazine carrier that accommodates a minimum of 2 spare magazines
  • 9mm caliber or greater serviceable pistol with 3 magazines (5 for single stack autos)
  • Pistol holster (NO SERPA HOLSTERS) and magazine carrier that accomodates 2 spare magazines

Ammunition Requirements:

  • 700 Rounds of 5.56 / .223 (No M855 Greentip)
  • 150 rounds of pistol ammunition 
Gear Requirements:
  • Seasonally appropriate clothing
  • Rain gear
  • Hat
  • Boots/hiking shoes
  • Kneepads
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Water bottle (suggested)
  • Hearing & eye protection
  • Firearms cleaning kit
