Tavor® SAR .300 AAC Blackout Conversion Kit

The Tavor® SAR  is uniquely convertible to .300 AAC Blackout.

The caliber conversion kit includes:

  • Tavor® SAR .300 AAC Blackout 16.5″ barrel – cold hammer forged, CrMoV, chrome lined, 1:8″ RH twist
  • A2 flash suppressor
  • Right hand bolt for a right handed shooter or a left hand bolt for a left handed shooter
  • Recoil mechanism
  • A full-length flattop Picatinny rail with gas regulator
  • Tavor®SAR deflector frame (for conversion from 9mm to .300 AAC Blackout)
  • Tavor® SAR .300 AAC Blackout front sling swivel (marked with a red dot)
  • Tavor® barrel wrench
  • One Black Magpul PMAG® Gen M3 30 Round with Window

Please follow the following steps in the included Tavor® SAR manual (P/N 08011011300) in order to install your .300 Blackout kit:

Section 14.1.1 Quick-Detach Sling Swivels
Section 14.1.3 Sear Mechanism
Section 14.1.4 Recoil Mechanism
Section 14.1.5 Flattop Rail Assembly
Section 14.1.6 Swivel Sleeve and Swivel Lock
Section 14.1.7 Foregrip Group
Section 14.1.8 Cocking Group
Section 14.1.9 Barrel Group

For .300 Blackout conversion from 5.56 NATO or 9mm:
1. Follow section 14.2.6.3 or 14.1.6 Swivel Sleeve and Swivel Lock to replace the sling swivel attachment sleeve. The .300 Blackout sleeve has a red dot.

For .300 Blackout conversion from 9mm:
1. Follow section 14.1.10 Magazine Adapter Assembly to uninstall the 9mm magazine adapter assembly.
2. Follow section 14.2.6.1 Deflector & Deflector Frame to install the  5.56 NATO/.300 Blackout deflector frame.

Removing your barrel without completing Sections 14.1.1 – 14.1.9 first will damage your barrel.

Warning: You must use the new barrel with the provided bolt to ensure headspacing is correct. Failure to do so may result in a catastrophic failure of your barrel and/or bolt and cause destruction of property, personal injury and/or death to you or bystanders.

If you are using any other Tavor® SAR manual please follow the following steps in order to install your .300 Blackout kit:

Section 15.1 Primary Disassembly/Reassembly
Section 15.4 Secondary Disassembly/Reassembly
Section 15.5 Removal/Installation of Flattop Rail for removal of the flattop rail
Section 15.6 Removal/Installation of Front Swivel and Lock for removal of the front swivel and lock
Section 15.7 Removal/Installation of Foregrip Group for removal of the foregrip
Section 15.8 Removal/Installation of Cocking Group for removal of the cocking group
Section 15.10 Removal/Installation of Barrel Group to remove the barrel

For .300 Blackout conversion from 5.56 NATO or 9mm:
1. Follow section 15.6 or 15.7 Swivel Sleeve and Swivel Lock to replace the sling swivel attachment sleeve. The .300 Blackout sleeve has a red dot.

For .300 Blackout conversion from 9mm:
1. Follow section 15.14 Deflector & Deflector Frame to install the  5.56 NATO/.300 Blackout deflector frame.
2. Follow section 15.17 Magazine Adapter Assembly to uninstall the 9mm magazine adapter assembly.

Removing your barrel without completing Sections 15.5 – 15.8 first will damage your barrel.
