David Harris is a retired Green Beret, that was assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (SFG), he was a Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Instructor (SFAUC). In David’s first two years at SFAUC he was the primary instructor for close quarters battle (CQB). In the next 2 years David was the Primary Instructor for Combat Marksmanship located at Ft Liberty for 3rd SFG SFAUC committee. David enlisted in the Army in 2003 as a stinger missile crewman (14S) assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, then decided to try out for Special Forces and earned his Green Beret in 2008. He began his career in Special Forces in 3rd SFG Charlie Company 2nd Battalion and served there for almost six years as a Senior Weapons Sergeant. He then went to Bravo Company and performed duties as an assaulter on the Crisis Response Force (CRF) for 6 years. David retired in 2023 and is based out on NC.
