Rick Torres is a retired SWAT team leader. He served many roles on the team, including lead firearms instructor, lead defensive tactics instructor, sniper/observer, rappel master, and tactical instructor. Rick’s last assignment had him working closely with the U.S. Secret Service (CAT) team as a team leader for a Quick Response Team (QRT), providing protection for the president of the United States.

Rick is very passionate about competition and travels the country shooting USPSA Pistol, 2-Gun and Team Sniper competitions for Team IWI. Rick is also the lead firearms instructor at Torres Training Solutions (TTS).
