The IWI Pistol Mechanics focuses on the fundamental operation and handling of a semi-automatic pistol like the Masada, Masada Slim, Jericho, and similar models from various manufacturers to include Glock, Sig, Smith & Wesson, CZ, and more. The Pistol Mechanics course covers an introduction to handguns, the internal operating mechanisms, and the human operating mechanics of efficiently shooting and handling the pistol. Mechanics is designed to familiarize new shooters with their new firearm and to work on efficiencies for more experienced shooters. The course covers basic maintenance, hand placement for support, off-hand shooting, proper holster use open and concealed, the handgun shot process, positional shooting, reloading, and problem solving/malfunction clearance.
