Harrisburg, Pa. (April 2016) – IWI US, Inc., a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) Ltd., has signed on as a Gold Sponsor of the 2016 East Coast Steel Challenge Championship. The event will be held at the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club located in Orefield, Pennsylvania, Sept. 23-25, 2016.
The East Coast Steel Challenge Championship is a Tier 3 Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) match with cash payouts and a huge random drawing prize table. The competition is stiff with last year drawing more than 600 participants over all three SCSA matches. The Steel Challenge consists of 195 rounds minimum and eight official SCSA stages, including the difficult “Outer Limits” and “Speed Option” stages.

Krav Maga courses are also available at the Texas facility. Krav Maga is the IDF’s hand-to-hand combat technique and offers an alternative method of self-defense when other means of force are not available to the student. IWI US also offers a Krav Maga course specifically designed for women which will be available in the spring of 2017.
The TAVOR SAR/X95 Armorer Training Course held at the Harrisburg Area Community College is open to law enforcement and industry professionals. The course is designed to familiarize students in the basic maintenance, breakdown and conversions for both platforms.
