This course is designed to help develop repetitions and technique regarding the use of a red dot pistol. We will explore the limitations and advantages of the system while practicing core fundamentals used to exploit the system. At the completion of the course, the student will have a solid understanding of utilizing and taking advantage of the red dot in relation to pistol shooting. Your course will be instructed by members of the special operations community and law enforcement.
IWI DOES NOT HAVE WEAPONS TO RENT FOR THIS COURSE
This is a red dot specific course.
There will be an IWI discount applied to one weapon purchase directly from the factory upon completion of the course.
*Course will require significant and frequent positional changes from standing to kneeling to prone, some minimal running, and dynamic adjustments.

Prerequisites:

Firearms Requirements:
- Quality pistol with 5 magazines, 8 magazines if the pistol is a single stack
- Quality holster, not nylon and no Serpa holsters. Magazine pouch capable of holding two magazines. The holster cannot collapse if being worn inside the waistband.
All students will be expected to have good quality pistols and holster systems.
Serpa and Nylon holsters will not be allowed for this training.

FAQ
What does the cost of registration cover?
*This fee covers the cost of the course only. The participant is responsible for costs associated with travel , lodging, meals, firearms, ammunition, and gear required.
Do I need a background check to attend training?
Yes, unless you have a current state issued concealed carry permit.
*If so, then you will need to upload a copy of your permit and driver’s license during registration in lieu of a background check.
I don’t have a concealed carry permit. How do I obtain a background check?
Use Sentry Link National Criminal Background Check to obtain your report.
*The background check requirement will be waived if the applicant can provide a copy of their concealed carry permit, issued by their home state, along with a copy of their driver’s license OR a copy of their law enforcement credentials and their state issued driver’s license.
Once the report is obtained send the report to training@iwi.us to have it included with your registration packet. You can send the report via the “Share” button.
How do I pay for the course?
During the registration process, you will be asked to enter your payment information or voucher code in order to pay for the course. This payment is required to hold your place in the course due to class limits and the management of student / instructor ratios. Cost covers the course only (unless otherwise indicated). Students are responsible for costs associated with travel, lodging, meals, firearms (unless a loaner is requested), ammunition, and personal gear.
Refund/Reschedule Policy:
- Cancellations: If you cancel no later than 30 days prior to the start of your course, your payment can be applied to a future course for up to one year. If you cancel within 30 days of your course start date, your payment is non-refundable. However, that balance may be applied to another course within one year.
- Refunds: You can receive a full refund up to 30 days prior to the start of your course. Any amount over $250 is fully transferable or refundable if you cannot make the class for any reason, with or without notice.
- Reschedule: You can reschedule up to 2 times without penalty. After that you are no longer eligible to transfer your payment to a future course and forfeit your refund.
